I am a content strategy consultant specializing in audience development, content management, and editorial voice and copy. I help organizations figure out what to write, how to organize it, and how to distribute it in order to reach and grow their audiences. (I also do the writing part.)

I thrive working cross-functionally with business leaders, strategists, marketers, developers, product managers, and designers to make your content an integrated, sustainable part of the business.

I started my career in 2008 in print publishing working for McSweeney’s, Chronicle Books, and Norton, among others. I moved to digital content as one of the first editors at Atlas Obscura. I then worked in-house as Director of Content at Dictionary.com and the first Editor in Chief at Babylist. I also have published work in The Believer, Salon, The Millions, and The Rumpus.

At NYU's Gallatin School, I studied early Christianity. I grew up in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago. I now live in Oakland, California with my husband and two children.
